Classes with Arman Arun: Boom Art School
Session one - May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18 from 6 to 9 pm
In this introductory class, you will learn the foundation for drawing and painting with various media: graphite, charcoal, ink, metal nib pen and ink, watercolor, oil paint, acrylic.
Our teacher is Arman Arun, a classically trained arts teacher with degrees in design and fine arts. He is the first prize winner of the National Student Painting Competition of 2014 in Iran. He founded Boom Art School in 2016 after teaching in several private art institutes and middle and high schools. He has participated in over 30 group exhibitions in Iran, Turkey, Armenia and Canada. Most recently, he exhibited his work at IDS 2025 in Toronto.
Skills and Techniques: Drawing and painting with various media: graphite, charcoal, ink, metal nib pen and ink, watercolor, oil paint, and acrylic. Printmaking: etching, drypoint, mezzotint, monotype, monoprint, and mixed techniques Figurative sculpture using professional sculpting clays.
Cost: $150 for 4 sessions.
